Description
This herring gull has found a fine perch on a light fixture above the Ha'penny Bridge in Dublin, Ireland. It was built in 1816 and was the first iron bridge in Ireland. The pedestrian bridge's name comes from the fare. It cost a half penny to cross the bridge until 1919. It is free today.
